Global Inc., an SBA-certified 8(a), MBE, DBE, and ACDBE small business, engaged Pinnacle Thrive Solutions to transition their aging on-premises infrastructure to a fully cloud-native Microsoft 365 ecosystem, while simultaneously implementing a zero-trust-based device management framework using Microsoft Intune.

Challenges

Global, Inc. faced several key challenges, including manual device management that posed compliance risks and limited their ability to maintain consistent security standards.     • Identified device inventory needing enrollment into Microsoft Intune.

    • Migrated 25+ user mailboxes to Microsoft Exchange Online using a staged migration strategy.
    • Consolidated 1.2TB of decentralized file shares into SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business with metadata preservation.
    • Set up Microsoft Teams for inter-department collaboration and integrated document libraries.
    • Deployed Office 365 applications with licensing.
  1. Modern Device Management
    • Enrolled all Windows 10/11 devices into Microsoft Intune.
    • Configured compliance policies: BitLocker encryption enforcement, password policies, and conditional access.
